Welcome to Frugal, Fit, and Fierce!

Hi, everyone! This is my new blog, and I'm super excited to get it started!

I wanted to start off by introducing myself and giving a brief description of what this page is for, what it will contain, and why you should follow it! 😉 If you have an interest in getting healthy, being healthy, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, you should follow this blog. If you have interest in getting fit, exercising, starting a workout routine, or starting to work out from home, you should follow this blog. If you are interested in positivity, affirmations, and self-love, you should follow this blog.  But most importantly, if you are interested in SAVING MONEY, SHOPPING CHEAP, and REACHING YOUR GOALS WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK, you should follow this blog!

Hi, my name is Chelsea. I am currently 29 years old, married to the tall, dark, and handsome man of my dreams, I live in Salt Lake City, Utah, and I have a passion for all things health, fitness, and frugality! I pride myself in NOT paying for a gym membership. I pride myself in NOT spending a ton of money on food, supplements, and diet pills. I pride myself in being able to set goals, work on them, and accomplish them all from the comfort of my own home, and without paying someone else to do it for me or tell me what to do.

I absolutely love helping people! I work in surgery, and the reason I chose this career is due to my love for helping people, which includes the love for helping people be healthy. I have found that alongside my surgical career, I can use my passion to help people with achieving their health and fitness goals! It started out by doing fitness challenges on my personal social media accounts, and I found it so fun and inspiring that I thought I'd take it to a whole new level!

A few months ago, my husband and I started going to classes and groups to help us both change our mindsets, our health, our depression/anxiety issues, and to cope with grief/loss that we had experienced in our lives. We were both working full-time during the day, and spent our evenings going to these groups, and it left us lost on what to do for food. We began meal prepping on Sundays to prepare for the week, and even after we finished our courses, we decided to continue to meal prep because of the ease and convenience of it!

I have also started a journey of personal self-discovery lately, and I have started working on positive affirmations and meditation. It has been super helpful for me, because I have had a lifetime of issues with depression and anxiety. I have always tried my hardest to be a positive person, and practicing affirmations and meditation has helped bring that full circle. I truly believe that mindset can completely change the way you look at yourself, your life, and all of your surroundings. 💖

I plan to use this blog to post recipes, simple/easy at-home workout regimens, tips for feeding you and your family healthy meals without spending a ton of money, info about meal prepping, and positive affirmations! I hope this can be somewhere you can go when you're feeling down. I hope this can be somewhere you can go when you need help with health and fitness goals. I hope you will come to this page when you just need someone to tell you that YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!
